Baroque rises $250k pre-seed!

2022 begins with big news for the Baroque team and our potential customers. We communicated with quite a number of investors and funds of all kinds in the last weeks and finally, today we celebrate the successful closure of a $250k pre-seed investment round! Even though our angel investors preferred to stay unnamed, we want to show our appreciation anyway, and thank them for believing in us and in our idea! And, of course, for the possibility of making the art world a better place for everyone! The funds will be used to extend the team, speed up the MVP development and run the first marketing tests.

We also plan to expand the use of Augmented Reality to provide an even more immersive experience to our gallery visitors.
First of all - surrounding audio. It may be the pre-recorded comments, music, or any sounds that add-on the holistic perception of the exhibited project. Secondly - the visitors will be able to fit the exhibited artwork in their interior in real size. And not only the original art, but also prints of all available sizes.
As a result, we expect a higher conversion rate from a visitor to a buyer to empower contemporary artists even more.

Now let's talk about the timeline. Our estimate for the public start of the MVP-1 is March 2022, so it's just a couple of months until you can visit contemporary art shows in the Baroque virtual gallery!
